Do they store individual PCR tests in Slovenia?

The question what they do with taken samples for PCR test after the analysis is completed was addressed to the National laboratory for health, food, and environment (NLZOH) on Facebook. They answered (cold-heartedly and directly – as if there was no rule of law or something alike anywhere nearby) that they aim to store as many samples as possible. According to the NLZOH, the samples stay persistent in a refrigerator for a day or so, after that period they store them below -20° Celsius or (even) -70° Celsius. They didn’t include the information on how long they (plan to) store them.

Legally, they can store biological samples for a week. Here might be an indirect proof that they store them longer.

The authority recently (24th of January) said that they would test old samples of PCR tests for a “new English strain” of the virus from 11th of January forward. Therefore, we could suspect they have been storing this samples regularly since the start of the testing.
